Folk music performed by a trio!
Trio Jenlis
Mathilde de Jenlis, violin
Axel de Jenlis, cello
Héloïse de Jenlis, harp
Throughout their programme, the Jenlis Trio takes you on a journey from the Spanish sun to the Carpathian Mountains. Over the centuries, composers of classical music have drawn inspiration from traditional music, either to rediscover the musical heritage of their homeland or out of a fascination with other cultures. To the sound of the violin, cello and harp, this programme explores the influence of traditional music on composers such as Bartók and Piazzolla. The Jenlis Trio, a group of siblings, will captivate you with their familial rapport and the unique harmony of their instruments.
