Stavelot needs no introduction to the Kheops ensemble, whose three founders have been regulars at our Festival for many years. Together with two of their friends and the associate artist of the Festivals de Wallonie, they pay tribute to Franz Schubert and his worthy successors. We have no doubt that this Schubertiade will introduce you to some magnificent composers and works. The concert will conclude with Johannes Brahms's famous trio, and the shadow of Arthur Grumiaux on violin and Francis Orval on horn will bring back a moving memory for our older listeners...
