The Trio Impromptu comprises three renowned musicians. After starting out on the piano, Caroline Poncelet discovered the violin. She studied under Philippe Koch at the Royal Conservatoire of Liège and went on to further her studies with Boris Belkin. She is passionate about chamber music. Alexandre Beauvoir began playing the cello at the age of seven. Trained by Frédéric Borsarello and then Claude Burgos, he went on to study with Marie Hallynck at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels. In 2011, he founded the cello octet Ô‑Celli. Élodie Vignon trained at the Conservatoire de Lyon and then at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels under Daniel Blumenthal. She has been a guest performer at prestigious festivals in Europe, the United States and Asia.
