In this film, inspired by the story of the Pleynet sisters—Claire and Jeanne, twin pianist sisters—reality seems to surpass fiction. At 18, they are on their way to fulfilling their father's dream of becoming virtuosos. Unfortunately, a rare disease affects first one sister's hands and then the other's, forcing them to become prodigiously inventive in order to continue to exist in the world of perfection that is often the world of classical music.
