Founded in 2012 by clarinettist Jean-Philippe Poncin, WOLF is a Belgian wind ensemble specialising in the performance of classical music on period instruments. This commitment guides the ensemble in its approach to a repertoire consisting mainly of major works from the 18th and 19th centuries. The ensemble is regularly invited to perform with groups such as Les Agrémens, Il Fondamento, Octophoros, Il Gardellino, B’Rock Orchestra, Les Talens Lyriques, La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy, and the Orchestre du XVIIIe siècle. It also works regularly with Dick van der Harst, Kris Defoort and Claron McFadden.
