This year, there are two films with very different themes and moods.

PRODIGIEUSES
Film by Frédéric and Valentin Potier, 2024
In this film, inspired by the story of the Pleynet sisters - Claire and Jeanne, twin pianist sisters - reality seems to surpass fiction. At the age of 18, they are on their way to fulfilling their father's dream of becoming virtuosos. Unfortunately, a rare disease affects first one sister's hands and then the other's, forcing them to become prodigiously inventive in order to continue to exist in the world of perfection that is often the world of classical music.

EN FANFARE
Film by Emmanuel Courcol, 2024
Undeniably one of the big hits when it was released in Versailles in early 2025! It is the story of two brothers who are “forced” to reunite. While their lives seem so different, music could be what brings them together. Several elements of the script bring to mind our region, which is rich in musical diversity. The world of music sometimes seems to want to pit styles and genres against each other, or even separate professional musicians from amateurs, but are these distinctions really relevant? This film, like Stavelot and its region, proves quite the opposite!
Tickets €7.
