Formed in 2001 at the Paris Conservatoire, Quatuor Ardeo is now one of France’s most renowned ensembles. Their career has been marked by numerous prizes at international competitions (Bordeaux, Moscow, Bologna, Melbourne, etc.). The Quartet has been met with enthusiasm on major stages and at prestigious festivals. Named ‘Rising Stars’, the Quartet has toured major international concert halls, sharing the stage with eminent partners. Their first album was released in 2007. Their discography ranges from Purcell and Bach to Shostakovich.
