Founded in 2024 by violinist Lorenzo Gatto, the Karavan string ensemble brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds to foster a dialogue between classical tradition and contemporary expression. Its members include cellist Mikko Pablo of the Susato Trio, who has already been invited to perform in Stavelot on two occasions in recent years. The ensemble cultivates an open and nomadic identity, reflecting its name. Its programmes take the form of continuous musical narratives, blending original compositions with selected works from other repertoires.
