Born in 1994, Sylvia Huang studied first with her father, then at the Brussels Academy of Arts. At the age of ten, she won several national prizes. After two years in the European Union Youth Orchestra, she joined the National Orchestra of Belgium and is now a member of the prestigious Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam. Passionate about chamber music, she participates in many festivals and, in 2019, she won the Queen Elisabeth Competition, winning both Audience Prizes! She plays a violin by Carlo Fernandino Landolfi from 1751, on loan from the RCO Foundation.
