Like his sister Leonor, Lorenz Swyngedouw began studying the violin at a very early age. He then studied at the Conservatories of Liège, Antwerp and Brussels, and with great pedagogues (P. Amoyal, Z. Bron, P. Vernikov). Passionate about orchestra and chamber music (Madera Quartet), he made his debut at the Royal Opera and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, and at the Opera of Flanders. Since 2016, he has acquired a solid training and reputation in major ensembles in Berlin, where he is now established as a young professional. He has just been hired as 1st violin at the Magdeburg Opera.
