Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden is an integral part of the Belgian artistic landscape and King Philippe has made him a knight in 2019. A student of Eduardo del Pueyo, he made a name for himself with a brilliant 3rd Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition when he was only 16 years old, and his reputation has never waned since. He is a concert performer with an impressive repertoire and a chamber musician much sought after for his perfect complicity with his partners. In addition to concerts, he has taught for a long time at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and today he gives advice to young artists at the Queen Elisabeth Chapel.
