Born in Moscow in 1985, Boris Kusnezow began studying the piano at the age of 5. He then went on to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover (where he now lives and teaches). He then went on to study with the great masters. His career took off in 2009 when he won the German Music Competition and in 2011 he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since then, he has won numerous international prizes and is in demand in the most prestigious halls. He regularly accompanies candidates or winners of the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
